Day 3 of these World Youth Climbing Championships. Once again splendid sunshine beams down onto Arco and, once again, it’s bouldering time. But the stakes are higher than ever before: it’s time for the Semis, that decisive round in which the 20 qualified athletes will battle it out for the six places in the Final.
120 athletes will take part today in a competition that is synchronized to perfection, as the male and female competitors climb at the same time on their respective boulders: : at 10:30 Youth B Under 16 (born in 2000, 2001), at 14:55 Youth A (1998,1999) and then, at 17:35, Juniors (1996, 1997).
