The IFSC World Youth Championships start today with the female boulder. And – as usual – the games begin with splendid sunshine beaming down onto the Arco Climbing Stadium and the steep rock faces that surround the Italian town. So after years of waiting, months of preparations this morning the adventure finally begins for this XXIII edition of the Youth World Climbing Championships
First off the starting blocks is Female Boulder. The Qualifications for the three categories – Under 16, Under 18 and Under 20 – begin at 10:00 and expectations are high to qualify for the Semifinal on Saturday and the Final on Monday.
