From 28 August to 6 September 2015 the Arco Rock Master Festival continues its long tradition to celebrate the 29th Rock Master and the Xth Arco Rock Legends Awards. In addition, the small Italian town will also host the IFSC World Youth Championships, with the disciplines Lead, Speed and Boulder.

2015 will be an extremely important year for Arco. After the huge success of Rock Master – which since 1987 has transformed into the most important climbing competition in the world – and after the extraordinary experience of the 2011 World Championship, this year Arco will lay on a triplet that cannot be missed: Rock Master, Arco Rock Legends and, so as to look even further into the future, the IFSC World Youth Championship.

From 28 August to 6 September 2015, the small town in Italy’s Trentino region will be invaded by hundreds of young athletes from around the world – an estimated 1000 youngsters – and for the first time in the history of youth competitions there’ll be not just the traditional disciplines Lead and Speed, but also Boulder, a sign of how much this youngest discipline has grown dramatically in recent years.

The IFSC World Youth Championships are a unique and important opportunity for Arco that, for years, has successfully hosted Rock Junior. Last year the town also successfully hosted the European Youth Boulder Championships.

All efforts are now directed at these new IFSC World Youth Championships, and also at continuing the Rock Master Festival history: as mentioned Rock Master will be disputed this year with the Duel formula, while the prestigious Arco Rock Legends Awards will celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Rock Master Festival therefore, thanks also to its Rock Master Village, continues to be an important meeting point for the champions of today, yesterday and tomorrow. The date is set for 28 August 2015 at Arco, for a great sport climbing festival
