Would you like to join the Arco 2019 team, the staff of volunteers of the IFSC World Youth Climbing Championships in Arco? From 21st to 31st August hundreds of young climbers from all over the world will meet in Arco for a ten-day event to compete for the world titles in bouldering/lead/speed, but also to share their passion.
Are you 18+ years old and a fan of climbing? This is a fantastic opportunity for a unique experience with hundreds of young climbers from all over the world.
Volunteers will have:
- a tent pitch in a campsite
- lunch and dinner at the Climbing Stadium’s refreshment point
- free ticket to the RockMaster Duel on Saturday 31st August
- staff uniform and technical climbing equipment of our technical partners
- a surprise with an inscription signed Adam Ondra, Ambassador of GardaTrentino
Volunteers will work in 6-hour shifts to assist the athletes in the race (cleaning of boulders, athletes’ access, isolation area surveillance) from 8 am to 2 pm or from 2 pm to 8 pm. For the rest of the day they have time to climb on the cliffs of Garda Trentino or watch the races.
Special opportunity for Climbing Halls.
The climbing halls that send at least 8 volunteers to cover the ten days will become part of the “Rock Master Friends”. They will receive an advertising space in the magazine Rock Master News, their logo and link will be visible on the Rock Master Festival website and they will have the possibility of distributing advertising material at the “Rock Master Friends” corner at the Climbing Stadium during the days of competition.
